Today in Class:
First, I reminded you all about your quiz Friday: Density, and Types of Matter. I also offered to study with any of you and noted I am in my room at lunch today for make-up lab work and absent work.
Next you all read TCi – Molecules! Unit 1, Lesson 2, Sections Intro., 1-2-3. You read with partners and then answered the questions that followed in the online text for each section (orally).
Then we tackled those Types of Matter notes!
Pure Substances: Atoms, Elements, & Compounds
Mixtures: Heterogeneous and Homgeneous
Last: Most students had time to start their Sketch Notes. (examples below) We will continue on with these tomorrow!
